This is the queen of red lipsticks. Red Door Red! With just one touch, it delivers amazing color payoff and smudge-proof staying power, making it my most beloved lipstick♥ The inside of my lips feels moisturized, and the outside is not overly glossy, which I'm very satisfied with. Red-toned lipsticks vary in shade and intensity across different brands, so you need to try them on to see which one suits you. Red Door Red is an intellectual yet clean red, so I had no hesitation wearing it all year round. As you can see in the photo, it makes my teeth look whiter and doesn't clash with most outfits, which I really like. It also looks great even without any other makeup. I've been using it for about a year now, and I cherish it dearly. I've found that lipsticks from skincare brands (rather than makeup brands like M*C, Make Up *Ever, 3*E, NA*S, Ba*rb Brown, etc.) tend to be less drying and have better lasting power.

It's great that the lipstick makes me look pretty, but it's a shame that it keeps getting used up. Some people have asked to borrow the red lipstick after seeing me wear it, which is awkward. Lipstick is not something to be shared. I've heard that sharing lipstick can lead to bacterial infection. 😈😈😈 For sanitary reasons, please do not lend out your lipstick!!! Even when testing lipsticks in the store, wipe the top with a tissue before applying.

I tend to unconsciously pick at the flaky skin on my lips, which sometimes causes them to bleed. (That's why my lower lip looks a bit swollen in the photo) When that happens, I wait for the bleeding to stop, let the inner layer of my lips calm down, and then apply 8 Hour Balm. Applying 8 Hour Balm at night and then Red Door Red (shade 02) in the morning helps me achieve beautiful, healthy-looking lips.
