The sleek, compact packaging is so clean and nice. The clear window on the lid makes it easy to quickly identify the shades, which is super convenient. At around $20 each, the quality and variety of colors offer great value for the price. I remember they used to be a bit cheaper, but the prices have gone up a bit lately. The accessibility is also great. You can find MAC counters in practically every department store, and they're available both in-store and online through the MAC website, Lotte On, and other official channels. The omni-channel accessibility is really nice.
ConsI see, this was your first time ordering directly from the MAC website and it seems like it wasn't a great experience. I haven't heard of the MAC website being particularly problematic before, so this is new information for me. Since you've always had good experiences buying in-person or through official online retailers like Lotte On, it makes sense to stick to those channels going forward. The Lotte On site is a good option, as it's a direct department store partnership, so you can feel confident in the legitimacy and service. It's unfortunate to hear the MAC website customer service was unhelpful, the shipping was slow, and the order status updates were lacking. Even with understandable delays, clear communication from the company is important. At least the actual packaging and delivery were done well. Based on your feedback, it seems the MAC website experience left much to be desired, so avoiding that and sticking to the more reliable in-person and official retailer online options is probably the best approach for you. The convenience and peace of mind of those channels seems to outweigh any potential benefits of ordering direct from the MAC website.
TipThe MAC 219 brush and Picasso Collezioni 19 brush work really well with this eyeshadow. I like to use the Picasso 207A base brush to lay down a base of MAC Soft Brown or another neutral shade all over the lid. Then I use the Picasso 19 or MAC 219 to pack the deep, shadowy accent color into the crease and blend out the edges for a nice gradient. Filling in the inner corner triangle area with this also helps make the eyes look even bigger. This way, without even needing eyeliner, the eyes look so open and defined. The MAC Dazzleshadow in Last Dance pairs beautifully with this as well. You can use it underneath, or after applying the deeper shade all over the lid, just dab a bit of Last Dance with your finger in the center of the lid for a gorgeous, sparkling accent. The matte, non-glittery finish of the deeper shade has a sultry, shadowy look on its own. But if you ever find the matte look a bit flat, adding a touch of Last Dance on top with your finger gives it a beautiful, luminous dimension. It makes the look so much more radiant and fresh.

It is part of the 9-pan Mac palette, and while the colors are quite bold, I find that I can use them as eyeliner substitutes - they all seem to work about the same. There is some fallout, but brushing it away still leaves the color payoff quite strong, which I like.
ConsThere's really nothing I'm dissatisfied with, and I'm happy using it, but since I only use it as an eyeliner substitute, and there are many alternatives for that purpose, I don't feel it's exceptionally better than the others, so I gave it a 4-star rating.
