The fragrance is lovely. A sweet citrus scent. It doesn't leave any residue on the hands after application. The texture is just the right amount of heavy. It's not too light to make you doubt whether the nutrients are actually penetrating the hair, but also not heavy enough to make the hair clump together. After using a deep conditioning treatment for a long time, my hair would always be tangled and lacking in nourishment, but applying two pumps of this essence always helps detangle my hair. I'm on my third bottle now.

I have an oily scalp and combination (oily+sensitive) skin, but I didn't experience any issues after using this essence. I have no regrets.
