The eighth shade is a blue eyeshadow that I only use for cosplay! It's really useful for stage makeup. And the last, the black shade, is really handy for defining the eyeliner. But you have to be careful, or it can look smudged, so a bit of skill is needed.

There's no powder fallout or poor color payoff, but if you prefer lighter shades, I wouldn't recommend this palette. Except for the blue shade, I think the other colors are very usable. If you don't need the blue at all, you can definitely use the other daily shades.

This eyeshadow palette can also be used as a highlighter, blush, and eyeliner. I've used it as a blush and eyeliner when I didn't have those products, and it works really well - the eyeliner looks just like a real one, and the blush has a beautiful, subtle shimmery effect.

I received it as a gift and have been using it. While there were some difficult-to-use colors, I've been using it well! It's been useful to carry around when I don't want to carry multiple eyeshadows.
