The lasting power seems good, but it's a bit disappointing. It's a creamy matte formula, which is why the staining on the lips isn't very strong. It wears off a lot when eating, but it was fine during everyday activities like drinking coffee or conversing. At first, the sponge tip had too much product coming out, which was a bit of a letdown.

You can also use the leftover product on your cheeks to stain them. Just use a tiny bit of lip balm before applying! (If you use too much, the lip balm will get on the sponge tip and you'll lose the benefits of the matte formula) After applying, it won't feel drying, but it will create a matte finish on the surface.
