As someone with rosacea, it has been effective in reducing redness. There is a noticeable difference when I use it versus when I don't. Since it's a base product, it has more of a color-correcting effect rather than full coverage. It doesn't completely cover the redness, but rather helps neutralize the color. I've noticed a difference in coverage when I use a concealer with or without this product. When rumors of Skinfood going out of business surfaced, I was worried about what I would do without this product.
ConsAs mentioned earlier, this product does not provide full coverage to completely hide the redness. The coverage is quite sheer. When I apply too much, my face can appear overly brightened, which is not the desired effect. It's important to use the right amount and only apply it to the areas with redness.
TipTo achieve a flawless coverage, I use a layered approach of color-correcting base, concealer, and foundation. However, this can result in a heavy makeup look. To avoid this, I use a damp makeup sponge or a setting spray to help the makeup appear more natural and skin-like.
