The soft, natural colors are beautiful. When using only the cushion to do makeup without powder, it can be used naturally. Applying a powder-type blush on top of the cushion doesn't match the texture well.

Compared to powder-type blushes, the color payoff doesn't last as long, and while the color itself is pretty, it's a warm-toned color, which was a bit disappointing for me as a cool-toned person.

While stick foundation is convenient, the reason I prefer liquid type is because of its moisturizing application and how natural it looks when applied with a puff. I really like the color of this product and how easy it is to use. Of course, some may find it troublesome, but since I use foundation, I always use a puff. After applying the foundation with the puff, I lightly draw a diagonal line just below the cheekbones, and then blend it out naturally with the puff. This gives a perfect finish. Depending on how I apply it, I can make it more or less coverage, which I really like. I bought this shade along with Living Coral, but Living Coral was too pink for me. This shade has a natural flushed look, so I reach for it more often. VDL seems to make the best shades in my opinion.

The hygiene aspect with the sponge applicator is a bit concerning. Since the sponge has to touch everywhere, I don't get many breakouts, but it's still a downside. Having to use a tool, whether it's your fingers or a puff, is a bit inconvenient. But I still like this more! It might be difficult for beginners though.

I apply a small amount to the apples of my cheeks and build up the coverage as needed. I recommend gently buffing it out with a puff. If you're not careful, the coverage can end up uneven on the left and right sides. If it looks a bit too heavy, I'll just dab on a tiny bit more foundation on top of the cheek area. Or if the coverage has spread too wide, I'll just apply a small amount of foundation only to the expanded area. I use the same puff for both my foundation and blush, but I feel like the foundation kind of 'infuses' into the puff, making it look more natural. Since I don't really like super heavy makeup, the right amount is key!
