This is a typical fall deep-toned lip product. I bought it for the same reason. The more you apply it, the more the dark brown tone comes through. If you apply it thinly and gently, it can be worn daily. The orange undertone really brightens up the complexion, so you don't even need eye makeup... But personally, I found that applying it like a regular tint and then blotting with a tissue looked nicer in terms of texture. If you apply it thickly, like a pack, and then press and remove it with a tissue after some time, you can get the original color without it feeling too heavy even in the summer. It also has good staying power and doesn't transfer.

It has the typical texture and scent of a Peripera tint... It's not something I absolutely love, but I've gotten used to it. If you're not careful, it can apply too thickly. Around 2017, there were a lot of great mousse-type tints with nice textures that kind of overshadowed these kinds of lip products. I'm still using it, but once I finish this, I don't think I'll be buying any more Peripera tints or tips like this. I've promised myself that after using up 4 lip products, I'll treat myself to one of the lip products I've been wanting for a long time, and this will be the last one of those I have to use up.

The color was very similar to the one on the website, which I really liked! The color was exactly what I had in mind, and since the Piaa Velvet Lip line is a formula that I really love, I liked it even more. It's a deep brick color, so it would be perfect for days when I want to create a moody vibe or wear a dark makeup look. If you like this chili brick-like color, it would also work well as a daily gradient lip, applied lightly. The color isn't too intense, which I really liked! It does have a strong brown undertone, but it's a mix of chili red and brown, so it's not overly severe or dark. The formula itself is the velvet lip that I absolutely love. Moreover, the staying power is great, and it doesn't emphasize any lip flakiness, which I'm really happy about!

The scent is really disappointing 😭😭 I really dislike it 😭😭 If only the scent was improved, I would want to collect the entire line. But even so, the scent goes away quickly after application, so it doesn't bother me throughout the wear.
