This lip balm has settled on my dry lips 💚 I've tried many products like shea butter, but while they all have good moisturizing properties, my lips would often peel and I'd end up biting them even more. But with the Dr. Popo products, there's no need to peel off any flaky skin - it just all sinks in! I usually apply the Mocha Balm before bed, and I'm planning to purchase the Original as well!! These days I don't wear much makeup, so a tinted lip balm like the Mocha one seems perfect for just adding a bit of healthy-looking color. It's a bit dark, but I like how it looks natural and calming!

The smaller size has a soft, lip-shaped opening, but the larger size just has a regular screw-top, which is a bit inconvenient. Haha, but I've gotten used to it and just squeeze it out directly onto my lips without using my fingers, then wipe it off with a cotton swab.

The color is a deeper cocoa shade than expected, but when applied, the lip balm still looks quite natural. To my surprise, the pigmentation is quite strong. Haha. The brown is not an extreme warm tone, but rather a lower-chroma, lower-value greyish-blackish feel, making it a great fit for cool-toned and deep-toned individuals. The product images on the official website seem to depict a lighter, more nude-like application. The scrubbing function did leave my lips quite flaky the next day, and during application, there is a somewhat balmy, smooth feel. As a lip care product that you can wear as color, it's quite convenient and comfortable. I originally wanted to get the 10ml size, but since it doesn't seem to be sold in Korea, I got this one instead. And even this size isn't too large, fitting nicely in the palm of my hand. In any case, I don't regret it, as this type of colored lip balm is quite rare. After only wearing matte lipsticks, this will be great for when I want something more hydrating. Those who don't suit bold lips should generally avoid this.^^ And the castor oil has a rather pungent scent^..^ But I'm immune to it (I've even eaten it raw before), so I wasn't too bothered, just kind of expected it. It's tolerable. You could say it just smells strongly of oil. For first-time users, it might be quite shocking. It would be difficult to use this as a blush or contour, as it's a bit stubborn and doesn't blend out smoothly, and the finish isn't powdery.

Using a lip liner and then applying this will really complete the lip look.
