It didn't plump up my lip flakes, but it did help soothe my rough lips, so I could use it on bare lips as well as apply it over my makeup. When I layered it thinly over a matte lip and then added some oil, it transformed into a glossy lip effect, which was great for when my lips felt dry. The tapered tip also made it easy to apply a thicker layer when I wanted a more cushiony feel.
ConsBeing a non-adherent formula, it did tend to wear off and transfer more easily when I applied it over my matte lipstick.

It has a nice sheen to it.
ConsSince it's a lip oil, it disappears quickly, so I have to reapply it often.
