The products included were convenient and allowed me to easily take care of my hair.

Achieving the desired color with at-home hair dye is... quite challenging.

My hair condition: A mix of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd bleaching (completely white hair) from ombre bleaching 1. I was worried that self-dyeing would damage my hair, but after dyeing, my hair actually became soft and smooth. To be honest, the recovery balm product among the dye components was really good. It was so good that I thought the dye was just an excuse to sell the recovery balm. 2. There was no irritation. I have sensitive scalp and skin, but there were no breakouts. There was no stinging, itching, or other discomfort, so I'm thinking of trying another color.

1. For those expecting lavender, it's best to lower your expectations unless your hair is extremely light. The lavender color barely showed up - the 1st bleached hair came out khaki, the 2nd bleached hair came out gray, and the 3rd bleached hair came out ashy lavender (which was mostly just a grayish tone). It ended up being an odd color that I'm satisfied with, but if you're hoping for a true lavender, I wouldn't recommend it. 2. The color doesn't last long. My hair is difficult to dye, but the color washes out significantly with each shampoo. By the 3rd day, the color had faded to a light beige. 3. The ammonia smell of the dye is very strong. It's manageable during the dyeing process, but the lingering scent after shampooing is quite unpleasant. On the first day after dyeing, the pungent ammonia smell was still there, so I'll need to use a stronger scented shampoo instead of an unscented one.

It's better to have someone else apply the dye rather than doing it yourself, as they can be more thorough. If you want the color to last longer, I recommend using a color-depositing shampoo!
