The coffee powder is fine, and it doesn't hurt much if you don't rub it too hard. I bought it for the body, but the fragrance is so good that I keep applying it to my face. (The fragrance is good, but there is a slightly bitter aftertaste, as if it was roasted to the maximum) Compared to honey, it has a slightly better elasticity. The salt particles are also finer, making it easier to apply to the face.
