I really wanted to dye my hair pink, so I was debating whether to do the bleaching myself or go to a salon. After much consideration, I decided to do it myself and searched online. I ended up purchasing the L'Oreal Paris Excellence Blush Supreme bleach, as it seemed like a good option for self-bleaching. This was my first time doing a full bleach, so I was really worried about messing it up. But even though I didn't section my hair and just slapped it on, the results weren't too patchy, which was a relief! It was also a lot less irritating on my scalp compared to when I got it done at the salon. My hair didn't get as damaged as I had expected either! I'm not sure if it's thanks to the treatment, but there's only a slight resistance when I brush the ends, and it's not too difficult to brush. If I need to bleach my hair again in the future, I'll definitely use the L'Oreal Paris Excellence Blush Supreme again! It's more expensive than other bleach products (though I think it's worth the price). The smell is also really strong and unpleasant. It stings my eyes and the smell is just so intense, it was really tough to deal with. I'd recommend doing it in a more open space like the living room rather than a bathroom with poor ventilation. Also, while the photos say it can get you close to platinum blonde with just one bleach, even after two rounds, I'm still left with a very yellow-toned golden blonde, which is a bit disappointing. But overall, I'm still satisfied with the results!

I think it's really important to be as thorough and generous with the application as possible!
