I bought a lip color, and while the swatch photos may make it look quite intense, it's actually not that strong at all. The product applies smoothly and evenly, so unless you apply a lot, it won't come across as too intense. This color is closer to a muted plum shade, having less of a red undertone than a typical wine color. It's a really beautiful and uncommon shade, so I think it's worth purchasing even just based on the color alone. The formula has a plumping effect, which smooths out lip lines nicely, and the glossy finish doesn't get tacky. While there are similar products from more affordable brands compared to Hourglass, the Hourglass formula and finish are hard to replicate. It's just so gorgeous... I'd highly recommend it, especially for those who love a glossy lip look. It's one of my all-time favorite lip products.

Even in the winter, if the indoor temperature is a bit too warm, the formulation melts... In the summer, it will be melted and difficult to use.

The simple solid color with an overly glossy finish gives it a luxurious look. The Hourglass Gloss Balm line always results in a beautiful lip shape, likely due to the lip plumping effect. The thin and sleek product makes it easy to apply and follow the lip line.

The plum color is too dark and likely won't sell well in Korea. The color is too dark for most Koreans and makes the wearer look older, so I don't recommend purchasing it. This color is only seen in fashion magazines.
