The cleansing power is medium. The texture is like a melted, stretchy slime? It was really fascinating, maybe due to the seaweed extract ingredient. After using it, I realized that other cleansing foams were actually stripping moisture during cleansing. The seaweed cleansing foam felt really moisturizing, almost like doing a face pack during cleansing. Normally my skin is very dry after cleansing until I apply toner, but with this there was no dryness at all - it was so hydrating. I think this could be highly recommended even for extremely dry skin types. I'd love to repurchase and use this again after finishing the current bottle.
ConsApparently, it takes a bit longer to rinse off compared to other foam cleansers, likely due to the kelp extract. However, it leaves my skin feeling just as hydrated as after using a face mask, so it's not at all inconvenient.
TipAs a person with dry skin, I thought it would be best to use this product as a secondary cleansing step after an initial cleansing with cleansing oil, given the product's characteristics. When I actually used it that way, I didn't have to worry about the cleansing power, and it was much more moisturizing than other cleansing foams, with hardly any tightness after cleansing.

Even using a small amount, the abundant foam forms and gently adheres to the skin, and it minimizes skin irritation during cleansing! Additionally, my skin does not feel tight and maintains moisture even after cleansing, which is a great advantage for my dry skin type. This seems to be thanks to the moisturizing ingredients like seaweed extract and glycerin. I think I'll reach for this often on days when deep cleansing is needed!
ConsThe first time I used it, there was a slightly stinging sensation! Be careful if you have sensitive skin! And in my opinion, the makeup removal power of this cleansing foam was a bit lacking. For heavy makeup or waterproof products, this cleansing foam alone was not able to completely remove everything, so I found it more effective to first use a makeup remover and then use this product as a secondary cleansing step. I always use it that way and have no issues, but in general, a single cleansing may not be sufficient. Other reviewers seemed to have had similar experiences!
TipThe foam was sufficiently lathered and massaged onto the face for about 1 minute, which was very effective in removing sebum and dead skin cells. Focusing on areas with high sebum production, such as around the nose and under the chin, was particularly helpful for pore management. After cleansing, it is important to immediately apply a moisturizer to maintain the skin's hydration. Overall, the 'Shionri Seaweed Ampoule Cleansing Foam' is a product I would recommend for those with dry skin like myself. The rich lather and the hydrated feeling after cleansing are very appealing, making it a product I keep reaching for.
