I have a really severe case of irritable bowel syndrome, so I've had both constipation and diarrhea - it's been a total mess. I've tried just about every probiotic out there. But around the 3-week mark, things started to improve significantly. Initially, I had more gas, but now the gas has decreased and my bowel movements are much more comfortable.
