So I stashed it away and poured it into my daily toner pads, keeping them refrigerated. In the winter, the temperature difference between the outside and inside often causes redness to flare up, and there are many days when it doesn't subside all day, and the heat makes the skin on the surface and inside feel extremely dry, leading to flakiness. That's why I always use my toner pads chilled, no matter the season. After testing, my impression was that the formula has a "watery yet slightly runny texture." Typically, watery toners feel hydrating when applied but then become powdery. This product, however, maintains a plump, moisturized finish with a subtle glow even after absorption. This seems like a great product to use from spring to fall. In the current winter, it might be a bit lightweight for dry skin types, but if you prefer layering lightweight formulas, I'd recommend it.

The product container is a bit firm, so if you squeeze it directly, you may accidentally dispense too much at once if you don't control the force properly! I recommend taking a small amount on your hand or using a mask sheet or toner pad. The ultra-dry formula may still feel drying even with layering, especially in the winter.

You can just purchase the Hwahae refill and fill this product, then store it in the refrigerator. It's great for a light daily cleansing that replenishes moisture. The lightweight formula makes it suitable to use as a toner pack before makeup application. It helps hydrate and prevent dryness underneath, without interfering with makeup application.
