Those with dark and purple-tinted lip tones are highly recommended to use this as a base. It beautifully evens out the lip color, so whatever you apply on top looks gorgeous. Even if you layer it on thickly, it never looks overdone. I used to avoid glossy lips because they felt sticky and like I had something on my lips, but the Jelly Pot feels lightweight even when applied generously!! It goes on so naturally, making it a perfect 'no makeup' lip look.

At first, there is a sense that the color payoff is a bit lacking, but if you melt it with your fingers and apply it generously, the color payoff becomes good. However, the longevity is really poor. It doesn't even stain at all, and it wipes off even if you just drink water, which is disappointing.
