Before using the Hwahae, it gently presses down on the dead skin and makes the lips feel slightly plumper. Compared to base makeup, it's more like a primer than a skincare product. It's good to apply it on the lips while doing other makeup.

The product itself does not have exceptional moisturizing power, so it cannot be used as a lip balm. Just as it is meaningless to skip the basic skincare and apply only a primer when doing makeup, this product needs to be applied on moisturized lips, and then lipstick should be applied on top of it in order to see the effects.

Before applying the mattress pad, place it on top

This is not as rich and oily as a lip balm, but more of a lip primer that is quite moisturizing and plump. When you apply this and then a blurring type of product, it helps prevent severe flaking and allows the product to apply smoothly.

My lips are a bit sensitive, and it always stings too much when I use it. Especially because of cheilitis, it stings even more when my skin is peeling, so I've had to stop using it after a few times.
