I apply a lip base first, then layer this on top for a soft, natural look. The Peripera product has strong pigmentation and a distinct color, but this item has a glossy finish. When I just applied it to the center of my lips, the pigmentation wasn't too intense, and it wasn't overly sticky, which I liked. This is a great daily-wear item for cool-toned people!
ConsThe style does not lend itself well to coloring, so after eating, there is something that washes off. Therefore, it is necessary to lay a solid base and then apply it on top, which will make it last longer.
