It's a shame that it's no longer available. It's a product I've been using continuously.
ConsThe expiration date seems short. If you leave it for a while, the color changes. It's expensive, so I can't use it much.

ConsIt's been discontinued... I bought it at a duty-free store, but the price is a downside

I'll buy it on a duty-free trip to save money.
ConsThe price is burdensome. As a whitening product, consistent use is required to see results.

It seems they were trying to clear out the inventory of products with the closest expiration dates. I had always wanted to buy the Laser Focus Essence or the Dropper type, but I gave up on that when I bought the Estée Lauder brown bottle last time... The result was just regret, haha. I still don't understand why the brown bottle is so good... It seems to even out the skin tone, but at that price, it should also provide good moisture, right? It pulls on the skin like crazy... And what's this about wrinkle improvement? What kind of theory is that? However, the Laser Serum was always sold out when Clinique had a sale, so I was going crazy... In the end, I just left the country and kept waiting for it to be restocked at my travel destination. Luckily, I was able to get it exactly when they had the sale again two weeks later!! But I felt bad about only getting one, so I chose the Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector instead. It was more expensive than the Smart Serum or Optimizer, so I thought it might be even better, haha. It's a godsend for me!!! I bought it without even checking the ingredients!!! The reason is that even after checking the ingredients a hundred times, I've had too many products that were useless for my skin. But as a reference, European cosmetics seem to use ascorbyl glucoside as a whitening ingredient, while Korea uses a lot of niacinamide. I think my skin doesn't respond well to niacinamide. This product evens out my skin tone just as well as the brown bottle, but it's less drying. However, it's not as silky-smooth as the brown bottle. They say if you use it consistently morning and night, you'll see amazing results in 4 weeks. But I was already shocked when I looked in the mirror 2 weeks later; my face was so white... And our bathroom has such bright white fluorescent lighting that every single blackhead is visible, ugh. But in terms of skin tone, this is definitely the best whitening product I've ever used!
Cons1. Expensive 2. Combination skin may only need one layer in the summer, but for dry skin types, the moisturizing power is weak. 3. The opaque packaging means there's no way to know how much has been used or how much is left. When you press the pump and nothing comes out, it's a letdown... Gotta stock up again, ugh. 4. As far as I know, the 100ml large size is not available at domestic department stores, so I recommend purchasing through overseas direct order or duty-free.
TipPump it 2-3 times and apply it to your nose (I usually don't apply it because I'm worried about getting oily nose,,), and also apply it to your neck! Let's become a pure white Snow White all the way up to your neck ❤️

It could just be my imagination..
ConsWhen I used the whole bottle, I didn't see much of a whitening effect. And sometimes when I apply this, I feel like it clogs my pores and leaves me feeling stuffy. I don't think this product is worth recommending considering the price...

I'm quite satisfied with it.
ConsIt's mainly the price, I suppose...It's too expensive, so like many others, I tend to buy it at the duty-free shop.

My skin tone has become more even, and my face has become so bright and white that it's almost glowing. It also seems to be effective on dark circles. I've tried all sorts of things that are said to be good for whitening, but I'm going to stick with this one.
ConsEverything else is good, but it's drying. It's really, really drying... If not for that, it would be perfect~~

The whitening effect is really effective.. I couldn't feel it while using it, but when I stopped using it, I could clearly tell the difference. I've also bought the renewed version and have a lot of it stocked up, so I'm just waiting to finish using those and then switch back to it again. It really only takes a small amount to moisturize and have a whitening effect, and it absorbs into the face quickly without drying it out.
ConsIt's so expensive.. The price is really outrageous I've been using Clinique basic skincare morning and night for over 10 years, and the amount of money I've spent on Clinique is just astronomical The price is really ridiculous...
TipThere's no particular tip for this. But I do know that it's better to use essence types at night rather than in the morning before going to work, since they don't have sun protection.

I've been using it for 5 years. As someone with problematic skin, no matter how much I care for it, I still get one or two big breakouts, and of course, they leave marks. But with consistent use of this product, the acne scars have become quite minimal, so people who see me for the first time don't even realize I have troubled skin! Of course, anyone would want immediate results from any product, but that's just wishful thinking. As mentioned in the instructions, you need to use it for at least 2 weeks, up to a month, to see the effects. The results come very gradually, and by the time you finish a bottle, you'll be like, 'Wow, the marks have faded!' It also applies smoothly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized.
ConsThe price...that's why I only buy the 100ml size when I go to duty-free, mustering up the courage to splurge. And it doesn't really work well on the deeper-seated freckles or age spots. And as you get older, the fading process does slow down a bit. The scent might seem strange at first, but after using it for a while, I don't even notice it anymore, haha.
TipI just dab it on the spots, and the 100ml bottle lasts me about 6 months. If you mindlessly slather it all over your face, it'll be gone in just 3 months. Also, if you apply it over a product that forms a protective layer, it won't be as effective. Just apply it right after your toner, and dab it on.

But with this one, I didn't have any issues. Plus, a lot of people, including my sibling, have commented on how much better our skin looks after using it. I can definitely feel that my skin has become brighter as well.
ConsHowever, after using it for around 4 bottles, I didn't see any further improvements. I guess that was the maximum effect it could provide. That's why I've stopped using it now.
