I applied it generously in the evening and went to bed, and it improved a lot in the morning.
ConsThe fragrance has a slightly ointment-like feel, and the adhesion is a bit lacking.
TipIt's best to squeeze out a small amount and apply it with your fingertips.

And when I apply a generous amount before bed and sleep, I feel like it gets absorbed really well by morning! Some other products leave an oily feeling, stain the pillow, and don't seem to get absorbed into the lips as much.
ConsI didn't experience any discomfort while using it, but after checking the ingredients, they don't seem that great...? The downside is the ingredients...? But I bought this from overseas, so I'm not sure if the ingredients are exactly the same. I've already thrown away the packaging a while ago...

ConsThere's nothing disappointing...it's a good product. I recommend it.

It's unscented, non-irritating, and not overly greasy - I really like it.
ConsThere have been instances where the container has broken. Other than that, everything is good.
TipIf you apply it generously before bed, it's great all day long the next day.

Back then, it was always Vaseline or Chapstick, but my lips would crack and blister all year round, and I'd even have to apply steroid ointment. So I've tried almost every lip balm out there. One particularly harsh winter, my lips were so badly cracked that I went to the pharmacy, and they recommended this product. The texture is similar to an ointment, which was surprising, but while it doesn't immediately make your lips feel super moisturized, it gradually improves the cracking. I personally don't like greasy textures like Vaseline, Kiehl's, or Smith's, but I do enjoy thicker, creamy textures like Uriage, Bioderma, and Nivea. This one really does feel like an actual ointment, both when applying and after. I've highly recommended it to those around me, and I've repurchased it multiple times. I've tried a wide range of lip balms, but this one really stands out as something that works like a true treatment. I highly recommend it!
ConsThe packaging is a bit... I don't really like the squeeze tube format, and I prefer stick-type products. But given the ointment-like texture, a stick format might not work as well.
TipAt night or when I have time, I'll apply a thick, generous layer and leave it on for a while. It can make my lips feel a bit stiff, but as it absorbs, my lips become wonderfully soft.

ConsIf I had to point out something, it would be the lack of fragrance? And unlike regular lip balms, it doesn't absorb smoothly into the skin There's a slight whitening effect when applied

I have severe skin allergies, and using Nivea or Chapstick would cause me to break out in hives and chaos. But after my dermatologist recommended Bepanthen, I've been applying it almost obsessively, about once every 10 minutes... I'm not sure how it would work for others, but personally, I find Bepanthen to be much better than Carmex.
ConsDue to the unscented nature of the lip balm, it may have a medicinal smell that could bother those with sensitive noses! Honestly, I'm not too sure, but some of my friends have mentioned it... I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer lip balms with fragrance or color!

Even if I just apply it before bed, my lips stay moisturized all day without needing to reapply. This is a lifesaver, especially for my severely chapped lips that regular lip products (like Peripera) can't seem to help. Just apply one layer, let it absorb, and then add two more layers - you'll wake up with amazing, soft lips.
ConsThe price-to-quantity ratio is a bit disappointing. I end up having to buy a new one every month because I go through it so quickly.
TipThe price can vary quite a bit between pharmacies, so if you want to find it cheaper, you'll have to do some legwork. There are pharmacies that sell it for as low as 5,000 won, while others charge up to 7,500 won. On average, it seems to be around 6,000-7,500 won, but it's worth checking different pharmacies to find the best deal.

As it's a lip cream rather than a lip balm, it has a rich, creamy texture. It gives my lips a nourishing and replenishing feel.
ConsThe cream formula may absorb a bit slowly, so it's better to apply it at night before bed rather than during the day.
TipGenerously apply it to your lips before going to sleep.

So I quickly started applying it. It's been about 3 weeks since I started using it, and while I'm still chewing on my lips, they've improved a lot. First of all, they're no longer cracked and painful, and they used to split and tear up at night, but they're fine now. The formula is nice and soft, and the rounded applicator makes it easy to apply. If I slather it on at night and go to sleep, my lips are still in good shape the next day!
ConsSo far, there aren't any major downsides. The scent is a bit meh (a bit like ointment), but I understand since it's unscented. I'm sure more issues will come up the more I use it...
TipFor those with dry lips, drink lots of water! Water is the best. I really don't drink much water, and the difference is huge. Also, if your body runs hot, your lips can get relatively drier.
