Since my skin is a bit on the paler side, I tried out the Nature Republic products that were recommended. I can't remember the exact price, but it wasn't too expensive. Overall, the product helps brighten my skin tone and applies thinly and smoothly. It's a lightweight, daily option that's good for light outings. However, it doesn't cover freckles or blemishes as well as a BB cream or foundation would.

While the CC cream does help brighten my complexion, I still need to use a BB cream or foundation to properly cover freckles and blemishes. As someone with combination skin, I find that my skin gets a bit shiny after using this, so I have to blot with Gatsby's oil control papers to get a more matte, smooth finish.
