And slightly larger soft gold particles are intertwined, creating a subtle yet uniform movement! When applying the strobing cream, start with the strongest application on the cheekbones and center of the forehead and chin, then gradually diffuse it outwards. Layering a coverage powder on top allows the inner glow trapped within the matte skin to shine through - a technique I've often used. When using this base makeup, the trapped glow seems to escape and illuminate the skin, as if it's a moonlit gold. Ah, I really had to turn my head in front of the mirror to see it, it was that impressive! For this look, I used a highlighter brush like the Ahn Ssi Ebony09 or MAC 187 - no wonder this product is so renowned as a perfect match. However, after reading that this one has a whiter tone that is recommended for fair skin, I decided to go with it. But when I applied it directly, it had an ivory tone with a slight yellow undertone. Even though I have a neutral-cool skin tone, it looked quite unnatural. Even when I applied it thinly with a dedicated highlighter brush, there was no white cast, just a yellowish tone. It's not a warm, muted yellow, but a true yellow pigment. The texture is fine and smooth, but the color just doesn't live up to my expectations, so I feel like I wasted my money. I guess I'll have to use the Dior highlighter instead. It really does have that strange, off-putting yellowish tone, with no white luminosity at all.
ConsThe case is really tough to open. There are no gaps and it's sealed shut with a magnet, so it's difficult to open.
