ConsThe lather doesn't form well, so you should use it sparingly. The opening is also too wide compared to the product form, so you need to be careful when dispensing it.

Even within the same Dr. Woods brand, the prices may vary slightly depending on the exchange rate or demand. I remember that the peppermint one was a bit more expensive in the summer. As summer is ending, I originally wanted to buy the lavender one, and when I saw it being sold at a lower price, I decided to get it. On average, it costs around 16 won per ml. Since I don't have a separate pump, I usually buy the 473ml size so I can just squeeze it out. The ingredients and cleansing power are basic for a body wash. The potassium cocoate cleansing ingredient makes it feel a bit stiff. This ingredient is made by saponifying oils with NaOH or KOH, so it's alkaline. It has a similar feel to the old-fashioned bar soaps that were popular in the past. It cleans thoroughly, even behind the ears (Alaffia was a bit lacking in that area), but it's not overly drying. Unless it's the dead of winter, this should be suitable for oily or teenage/20s skin. It's not as strongly cleansing or drying as the SLS-heavy body washes. Using the Dr. Woods tea tree body wash, my back acne was well-controlled, and the Alaffia lemon lavender also worked well for that, so I realized that the key is not the tea tree, but having a body wash without harsh ingredients that still cleans well. However, I've started getting small breakouts again using this, so I'll have to use it a bit longer to see if it improves (the tea tree one took about a month to see effects). The scent is a fishy smell mixed with a wild lavender fragrance. I had previously tried the tea tree one and found it had a fishy smell. This one also has that. Since the base formulation is essentially the same and they just add a tiny amount (less than 1%) of essential oils like tea tree or lavender, the fishy base scent is still present. It's a bit better than the tea tree, but my family still says I smell like fish when I come out of the shower. With the tea tree one, I couldn't even detect the tea tree scent at all. This one does have a lavender fragrance, but it's accompanied by the fishy smell. My skin is a bit sensitive, but I haven't had any particular reaction to this. Those with infants or who are pregnant may want to consider the unscented version due to the essential oils.
ConsUsing Alapia, this is a bit annoying to apply. The scent is just so-so for me... If you're sensitive to fragrances, I recommend using Alapia. My family liked it though haha. I haven't tried anything other than Lemon Lavender, but I was satisfied with that as well. The low amount of lather is normal for these types of products.
TipIf you don't make enough lather, your body won't get properly cleaned. But too much is not good either - as you use it, you'll get the right amount. I make some lather for the upper body, then make more lather to wash the lower body. The problem is not that the lather is minimal, but that it doesn't last long. The inner silver lining is intact, so it hasn't leaked at all. If by chance it has leaked, since it's not a new one, you should request an exchange... The body wash from Hansalim has had its formula renewed, so I probably won't be using Dr. Woods anymore. Even though it's cheap, it doesn't go below 10 or 11 won per ml. And with Hansalim, there's no need to order it directly... I've even stocked up on the unscented one, so I'll just use that and say goodbye. A lot of people also use it for dish washing or laundry detergent - in that case, Hansalim detergent is around 5 won per ml. The ingredients are also decent, and they sell refills too. Since none of them are fully organic anyway... I'll just use the more accessible and cheaper option.

This product is great as it does not leave a drying sensation after use. The scent seems to be divisive, but I've grown accustomed to it. I like it.
ConsThere's not much that I'm dissatisfied with. If anything, the only downside would be that it's not a pump, which can be a bit inconvenient.

ConsWhile most products are like this, the lack of lather makes it a bit of a hassle to use~
TipIt's better to use it with a foaming dispenser~

You don't even need a separate body scrub, as it easily washes away the dirt. Since it's a soap, it's similar to using other soaps where the water running down removes the oil, but this one feels a bit more moisturizing.
ConsThe lavender... it's like the natural lavender scent wafting through a fully bloomed lavender field in Japan, right? It's an incredibly strong lavender fragrance. Haha, well, I personally don't dislike it that much since I like lavender. But the lingering scent is better than the one you smell while showering. You could think of it as an herbal fragrance... If you smell a whole rosemary plant directly, it would be quite shocking, right? It's not that extreme, but you may experience a similar startling sensation. As for the texture, I find it suitable, but I've heard some people say it's a bit watery and lathers up quickly.
TipIt's great as a shampoo and for multipurpose use! For those with dry skin, you know how additional body lotion is needed to prevent flakiness and buildup, right? But with this, you actually need to use it moderately, as using too much can have the opposite effect. Many people are aware of this, of course. A dollop about the size of two 500-won coins should be enough for the whole body.

Cons1. The lavender scent is not too weak, so I can't use it for face cleansing, only for body wash. 2. The manufacturing date is not printed, so I don't know when it was made, which was a bit concerning at first. 3. I didn't feel the need to repurchase this product.

In summer, it feels refreshing right after washing. The volume is large and the scent is American, haha. I always use it. The ingredients are safe and it's a product I always use!
ConsNever wash your hair, leave it for the laundry, haha
TipLavender products have a lot of mixed opinions on the scent, but it's not as strong as Black Soap and is a bit more intense like aromatic lavender oil.

ConsThe lather doesn't seem to be forming much, so I'm not sure if it's cleaning properly, but I think it's just in my head the more I use it.

The scent is nice and the cleansing power is great during showers~~ It removes dirt like a bar soap~~
ConsHmm.. the lather isn't that abundant. If you pump a lot, the lather comes out well, but when you use just a small amount, it's not that great~

I bought it at the duty-free store, thinking I'd just try it out since it was cheap. I generally prefer more moisturizing products, but this one wasn't overly harsh or simple-minded. It left me feeling clean and refreshed. Most importantly, it didn't irritate my eyes, which was a game-changer... So I'm planning to buy another one this time. The lavender scent also seems to help calm my mind and body, which people say can be a bit cloying, but I thought it was fine.
ConsI've heard a lot of people say the scent is bad, but I thought it was better than expected. When I opened the lid, I was hit with the familiar lavender scent, which I actually enjoyed. The only downside is, well, the price?
TipFor dry skin types, it's best to thoroughly cleanse and follow up with sufficient moisturizing and hydrating steps. I find that using it in the morning makes my skin feel a bit tight, and my makeup doesn't apply as well, so I only use it in the evenings. Also, be sure to work the product into a rich lather with your hands before cleansing for a more thorough clean.
