I bought the liquid/cream highlighter because I wanted to try it out. The color payoff is pearly and white, and a small amount can be expressed quite well. As long as I can control the amount...

The applicator is the signature Benefit brush, and when the cap is closed, the brush is locked into the product, making it cumbersome to dispense the right amount. I have oily, acne-prone skin. I have large pores and a lot of uneven skin texture and scarring. That's why I've wanted to use a highlighter, but it just gets stuck in my pores and accentuates the scarring... I really dislike this. But I found a holy grail product!! The pearl in this is incredibly fine. So does it even get stuck in my pores...? I'm not sure, but I can't see it. It really gives a glowing, radiant look. And since I'm a warm-toned person, this highlighter is a perfect match for me and looks so natural! I've tried a highlighter stick before, but it had a slightly artificial look. But this just brightens my skin so naturally!

The price...? But it wasn't too bad. But... I guess you could say it doesn't stay on beautifully, as the makeup tends to break up a bit. When my makeup wears off, this highlighter really shows through.

Pros
I bought a Shy Beam because the Dandelion High Beam felt a bit heavy. I thought using both shading and high beam would be too much, so I bought the Shy Beam. Even though I'm shade 22, which is on the darker side, it doesn't seem to show much, so I don't use it that often. It's a subtle brightening that only I can notice.
Cons
If your skin tone isn't too dark, it probably won't show. Haha Those with brighter skin tones should try the high beam. And I still haven't mastered the technique of applying it without it sliding off or removing the foundation underneath. ㅠㅠ The formula doesn't seem to be the easiest for beginners to apply. I had no idea the ingredients were like this. Haha I don't really pay much attention to the ingredients in color cosmetics, but I didn't realize it was this intense.
Tip
The good thing is the natural look, the bad thing is that it doesn't show. The photo shows me applying it generously, but when I actually do my makeup, I can't apply as much as that.

I have a very fair skin tone, so I used a color correcting concealer instead of a highlighter. The peach tone covered my dark circles well, and the brush made it easy to apply.
Cons
It doesn't have any shimmer, so it won't show up much as a highlighter. But if you want something really natural-looking, it could work.
