The initial aroma has a strong alcohol note, but the scent that emerges after the alcohol dissipates is quite similar. To be honest, I was really surprised by how similar they are.
ConsI'm not sure what's not working... but 5 minutes after applying, the area became irritated and turned red. I've used various perfumes before without any issues, but this road shop brand is the first one that's caused an allergic reaction. I was really surprised ㅠㅠ
TipIf you haven't had a chance to sample Deex, you can try this as an alternative.

It has a strong masculine fragrance, yet it also has a vintage vibe that suits the name 'New York'.
ConsThe initial scent is quite strong, so if you don't control the application, it can be overpowering. Also, the fragrance doesn't linger as a subtle afterscent, but rather the initial scent persists throughout.
TipThey say this is a budget version of the famous niche perfume Deep XX Do X, and while the dry-down is different, the actual scent itself is quite similar.

It has a floral scent, but not a typical floral scent - it has a slightly cloying gardenia-like floral scent. Among the Missha Labo perfumes, the New York scent was the strongest and had the best longevity. I was also surprised that it smells exactly the same as the tens of thousands of won Diptyque Doson perfume sold at department stores. I tried the Doson at the Shinsegae Department Store in Centum City, Busan, and I'm not sure if the lingering scent is the same, but the initial scent when I first sprayed the Diptyque Doson perfume was exactly the same. If you're not sure what the Diptyque Doson perfume smells like, you can just go to the Missha store and try the New York perfume.
ConsThere are a lot of mixed opinions. Among the Missha Labo perfumes, the New York perfume is the one that most people dislike and is the least popular. So the Diptyque Doson would probably also have mixed opinions. Be sure to try it out before purchasing. I was attracted to the scent when I tried it, and I don't dislike it now, but I think I won't repurchase it because I've gotten tired of it.
TipIt originally costs around 15,000 won, but it's even cheaper when it's on sale.
