I switched from the previous Yves Saint Laurent because it's much better value for money. The lasting power is also good enough that I don't feel the need to retouch it for over 5 hours.
ConsThe design seems too young for older middle-aged people to use. The Yves Saint Laurent design is better, so I just buy the refill and use it with the existing case. But I can't bring myself to throw away the old case, so I keep it at home. And while I was hoping for more moisture, it feels a bit dry for my already dry skin.
TipWeighing the pros and cons, the pros greatly outweigh the cons, so I think I'll keep using this product until I find an even better one. My tip is that I put a lot of effort into my skincare base to compensate for the matte finish.

Fragrance As soon as I apply it, there's a green tea-like or aromatic leafy fragrance that feels natural, as if I'm applying the natural ingredients directly on my face. It's different from the typical fragrance in cosmetics - it's a sophisticated scent that I've never experienced before! 2. Color and Coverage Since color and coverage are important factors for me, I scrutinize them closely. I usually wear shade 21, and while Espoir Porcelain felt a bit pale, this one looks more lively and naturally brightening, probably because it has a pink base. It has less of a yellow undertone compared to Clio, and is somewhat similar to Missha, but I think this one blends better. Missha tends to break down easily... 3. Coverage It's really great! The coverage is so good that it feels like a product made specifically for coverage. The luminous finish isn't overpowering, not as dewy as Clio's moisture expression, but rather a clean and soft finish. The coverage is as good as Clio's, while Yves Saint Laurent's coverage was disappointingly poor. 4. Puff The puff also has a natural scent(?). The fragrance makes me feel good when applying, and the puff doesn't get used up quickly, so the application looks great.
Cons1. Matte Finish Since the coverage is excellent, it does have a slightly powdery feel. So those who prefer a dewy look may not like it. I usually apply a lot of moisturizer, and when combined with the cushion, it can feel sticky and transfer easily, which I didn't like. For those who prefer a hydrating feel, this is not recommended! 2. Puff Since I've been using this one continuously, the puff feels like it's losing its bounce and resilience quickly. 3. Case Design This is a personal preference, but I don't really like cases with characters on them. However, the gold trim does give it a luxurious feel. 4. Composition I bought this based on a friend's recommendation, and it cost me the full price, without any refill included. Nowadays, most cushions come with a refill, but this one doesn't, which is a bit disappointing since cushions get used up quickly.

The 'before' photo shows my bare face (without even sunscreen), with face oil applied. The 'after' photo is just with the cushion foundation, without any additional products. My skin has a lot of yellow undertones, some texture, and not many blemishes or marks. I used to use the Luna essence, moisture-boosting foundation. 1. Lightweight yet good coverage It applies very thinly yet adheres quickly to the skin. I dislike heavy makeup and prefer a lightweight, 'no makeup' look, so this is perfect. A small amount can cover a fairly large area. 2. Tone correction It effectively corrects the yellow undertones and dullness. I didn't realize how much it showed up in photos until I saw the difference! It evens out the skin around my mouth area really well. The photos make it look like the makeup is sitting on top, but in reality, it blends in very naturally and brightens my complexion. A coworker even commented that my skin looked better after I started using this. 3. Satin finish (with sufficient skincare) I usually prefer a dewy, glowing base, but this has a satin finish with a nice luminosity. It doesn't feel dry or cakey. The lightweight application and good skincare routine prevent it from looking dry. 4. Lasting power It lasts until around 3 PM when I apply it in the morning. And it doesn't break down messily! With the Clio setting spray, it stays put until the end of the day. 5. Fragrance The floral, herbal scent is not like a typical cosmetic fragrance, which I really enjoy!
Cons1. Coverage It doesn't cover skin texture or scars at all. Concealer is a must-have. 2. Drying for touch-ups Since it applies best with a good skincare base, touching up during the day in the dry office environment can make it look cakey and uncomfortable. 3. Drying and accentuates flakes If I don't prep my skin well, it can emphasize dry patches and make my face look uneven. But the application is so smooth that I don't notice it until I check the mirror...
TipApplying face oil before the cushion foundation makes it more hydrating and long-lasting!

ConsI should say the puff is a bit rough. It feels like it minimizes the spreadability, so I applied it with a different puff and it got better.

It's fluffy and doesn't smear at all! The high price is well worth it!
ConsIf you apply too much, it will smear a lot. You have to apply it thinly, so controlling the amount is essential.
TipI have super dry skin, and using the included puff with water instead of the sponge puff makes it adhere a bit better and works great for me.

I used to use Yves Saint Laurent, but to be honest, I wasn't really satisfied with it. The coverage was fine, but the adherence wasn't great, and it wasn't very moisturizing either. About a month ago, I tried my friend's and switched, and I don't use Yves Saint Laurent much anymore. 2. The adherence feels great! I don't have bad skin, so I just apply a thin layer, but it doesn't cling at all, which is nice. 3. It's quite bright! I usually use shade 20, but this one is a bit more radiant and has a pinkish tone. 4. The case and the scent are amazing! Whenever I take it out, people ask me where it's from. The subtle scent is also quite nice.
Cons1. You need to take care of your skincare routine first. Last time, I slathered on a lot of moisturizer and had to rush out, so I used it without letting it fully dry, and it ended up clinging, crumbling, and transferring everywhere. 2. For dry-skinned people, it might only be suitable for summer use. It's moisturizing, but not enough to provide full coverage in the middle of winter.
Tip1. Be careful with the puff amount when using it for the first time! If you use it the way you normally would, it can transfer a lot and get cakey. A tiny amount is really all you need, as it provides sufficient coverage, so just lightly dab it on when you first open it. 2. Oily-skinned people should try using a damp sponge! Since this is a naturally moisturizing cushion, using a damp sponge would be perfect for oily skin types. 3. Make sure your skincare products are fully absorbed before using this! Otherwise, your whole day could be ruined.

The case is luxurious and very pretty 2. The cushion cap is firm, so there's no need to worry about moisture evaporating 3. The color is just perfect for shade 21 4. The coverage is superb.
Cons1. The oil content is quite high, so it may not be the best for oily skin types 2. Compared to other cushions, there is some noticeable fading 3. It's a bit disappointing that there's only one built-in puff 4. Once the moisture is gone, it can feel a little tight.

It doesn't build up thickly, but rather expresses my skin as if I naturally had good skin. The color is also good. At first, the 20th shade seemed a bit pale, but it naturally brightens and tones up to match my skin tone well. It doesn't turn ashy or yellow, which I'm happy about. After applying, there's a slight glow left on the cheek-cheekbone area. There's also a cooling sensation, so it feels refreshing when applied. There's hardly any stickiness, and compared to Hera, which I've mainly used, the transfer and darkening are much less, and the staying power seems much better as well. Unlike Hera, where it gets blotchy and clumps up on the forehead over time, this just naturally breaks down cleanly, so it's not a big bother and you don't need to do touch-up makeup.
ConsI don't have dry skin, but more of a normal-slightly oily type, and I didn't feel any dryness at all. There was also no accentuation of flakiness. However, if you have severely dry skin, you may find the finish a bit drying.

When I received this product as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, my skin condition was at its worst, but it covered up almost everything. And it's moisturizing, but not too much so, and it has a semi-matte finish, which I liked.
ConsBut there's something interesting. It's semi-matte, but it doesn't adhere at all and it all rubs off onto my hands! And when it breaks down, it breaks down into little droplets! Isn't that really strange? It's completely terrible! You know what I mean by breaking down into little droplets? It creates a speckled pattern on the face as it breaks down. That's the kind of breakdown I hate the most! And there's another interesting thing too. It's moisturizing, but it brings out the flakiness! Isn't that really strange? It's like it's summoning all the hidden flaky friends^-^ I don't think I'll be repurchasing this!
TipOn days when I really, really need the coverage, I'll slather this on and then powder my face like crazy before going out. It does look a bit cakey, but at least it covers up the blemishes almost completely.

I think I will repurchase it in the future.
ConsIt was moisturizing, but at the same time, it felt a bit drying and had a slight darkening effect.
