I don't recommend this for oily skin. I have severe acne-prone skin, and when I used this product in the summer, my face would become flushed and feel heated. It has a finish that feels like a layer has been applied, with an oily residue, and that's when I would feel the heat on my face. So I only use it as a night cream on the coldest winter days.

It has an amazing glide and is not at all cakey, so I used it very well.

Don't be fooled by the brand. I only applied this product once, and my face is already stinging. I'm a dull-skinned woman who has never experienced this kind of reaction from using lotion before. So I checked the cosmetics app, and it shows 3 caution ingredients and a whopping 7 allergen ingredients. Even if there are many caution ingredients, having this many allergen ingredients is something I've never seen before. Moreover, it's not rich and feels oily. Even for me, who is close to dry skin, there is an oily feeling. If you're looking for a plump and moisturizing healing cream, please pass on this one. Pros
The soft formula seems to suit me better than the rich one. When I apply it, it glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly, leaving behind a non-greasy feel. Except for the dead of winter, I often use this as a lotion substitute, and in the summer, I sometimes use it as a night care product, followed by a light oil application!
Cons
However, I tend to prefer a thicker, more creamy texture like the Real Barrier Cream, so this one feels a bit too thin for me. That's why I think it works best as a morning daily product in the spring or early fall. And when I use it with a long-wear, matte foundation like Double Wear, it's fine in the height of summer, but on windy days in early fall, I do get a bit worried about it.

The texture was incredibly smooth. My skin felt comfortable, and when I checked the next day or after some time had passed, the bumps and unevenness had disappeared.
