Among the Ryu Jel products, this one is the most firmly fixed and matte. There's hardly any shine. The application isn't great if you just spread it on, but if you mix it with water or a hair tonic, it applies really well. It has a waxy texture when applying with your hands, but once it's all on your hair and you brush it, it brushes through really nicely. The scent is like a fruity liquor - a bit refreshing but also sweet.
ConsYou have to mix it with water or a tonic for it to apply well. Other than that, it's extremely matte and not at all heavy, which is great.
TipI'll say it a third time - mix it with water or a tonic in your palm before applying. It really applies well that way and gets a subtle shine.
