I've tried both. There must be differences in the formula for each color. Over the years, I've tried eyeliners from various brands, and I've gathered my own 'big data' on them. Interestingly, the black color tends to smear a lot, while the brown color smears relatively less... But seeing that this feedback is common, it seems to be true to some extent. If you really want to draw a bold black eyeliner, instead of a pencil type, I recommend choosing a gel liner or a liquid liner. Haha
ConsIf you want to purchase the Etude Proof 10 Pencil, I strongly recommend you get it in the brown range. The black one tends to smudge.

ConsIt's a shame that the brand is Etude House.. That's why there's not much to nitpick about.

It's incredibly sharp - at least fifteen times sharper than in photos.
ConsIt's drawn too thickly and tends to break easily. I was only able to use it about 10 times in actual use.

Black liners often contain talc, so I carefully searched and found this one. 2) It has good lasting power. When it meets oil, it can bleed a bit, but you can fix it well with powder/eyeshadow, etc. 3) The price is also affordable :)
ConsThere's nothing bad yet. If you accidentally apply too much to the mucous membrane, it may sting a bit? But that's the case with any liner... There are no disappointing points, so please don't discontinue it and keep producing it for a long time.
TipThe liner has a sharpener on the back. You can use that to sharpen the tip whenever it becomes blunt!!!

ConsI wish the pencil was a bit thinner. It's just average.

It applies very, very smoothly. The color applies evenly and maintains its rich intensity all the way through.
ConsThe downside is that it tends to bleed, but of course, that may be because it's so creamy (?).
TipSince it's a very deep black, it's great for filling in the waterline or tightlining!

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsIt's a product I use occasionally, but it's fine every time I use it. It doesn't get hard or draw stiffly. I like the slim pencil, and I can draw pretty well without any difficult skills. I'll consider buying it 3,847,449 times if they release a brown matte version.
ConsThe smell... It smells like Pasnett crayons. Is it because it's a waterproof product? I was puzzled by why this product had such a smell.

Just one swipe gives such vibrant color, so I couldn't resist buying it right away. + It seems the product has been slightly reformulated, as it's now called '1 Vivid Black'. + The adjustable length is a great feature, allowing me to use it like a retractable pencil - I really love that!๐งก๐งก + For a color cosmetic, the formula is surprisingly gentle. I think this will become a staple for me. + Even though I have a warm skin tone, the black shade still suits me well! It applies so naturally. + No issues with breakouts! + It rinses off really well with my cleansing foam, which is important to me as I prefer products that remove makeup easily.
ConsIt's waterproof but still wipes off fairly easily! You'll need to apply it carefully to make it last - especially to avoid smudging around the dark circles!
TipI also layered some eyeshadow over the eyeliner and set it all with a setting spray. As long as there's no major friction, it stays on really well that way. The photo is from when I was reviewing the cleansing foam, and shows me wearing the vivid black eyeliner along with a deep brown eyeshadow.

ConsThe eyeliner is too thick and it doesn't apply well on my eyelids compared to the back of my hand.
TipIt has a slightly soft texture, so you shouldn't try to sharpen it too much, or it will break easily. It's quite fragile...
