I bought it for the same reason. The more you apply it, the more the dark brown tone comes through. If you apply it thinly and gently, it can be worn daily. The orange undertone really brightens up the complexion, so you don't even need eye makeup... But personally, I found that applying it like a regular tint and then blotting with a tissue looked nicer in terms of texture. If you apply it thickly, like a pack, and then press and remove it with a tissue after some time, you can get the original color without it feeling too heavy even in the summer. It also has good staying power and doesn't transfer.
ConsIt has the typical texture and scent of a Peripera tint... It's not something I absolutely love, but I've gotten used to it. If you're not careful, it can apply too thickly. Around 2017, there were a lot of great mousse-type tints with nice textures that kind of overshadowed these kinds of lip products. I'm still using it, but once I finish this, I don't think I'll be buying any more Peripera tints or tips like this. The color was exactly what I had in mind, and since the Piaa Velvet Lip line is a formula that I really love, I liked it even more. It's a deep brick color, so it would be perfect for days when I want to create a moody vibe or wear a dark makeup look. If you like this chili brick-like color, it would also work well as a daily gradient lip, applied lightly. The color isn't too intense, which I really liked! It does have a strong brown undertone, but it's a mix of chili red and brown, so it's not overly severe or dark. The formula itself is the velvet lip that I absolutely love. Moreover, the staying power is great, and it doesn't emphasize any lip flakiness, which I'm really happy about!

The color is lighter and has more of a yellow undertone than the photo I attached!! However, it's still a very pretty color!! It's much more unique and appealing than the popular brick-red lip tints. If your natural lip color is quite strong, applying a base lip color and creating a gradient effect will make it look even nicer >< This is the perfect color to wear in a moody way during the fall and winter!! The adhesion and color payoff are excellent, just like the original Peripera lip tints๐
