I tried this product, which is said to help with fine hair that tends to be slightly oily, and as described, I definitely noticed less hair loss when washing my hair. The lather is good, but it leaves my hair feeling more moisturized than squeaky clean. I feel this is a decent shampoo to use for anti-hair loss purposes.
ConsThe cleansing power is not very strong, so it may feel a bit weak for extremely oily scalps.

It's like pure menthol! It's not that kind of feeling, but when I use it, it feels refreshingly cool, so the usage experience is good. 2. My scalp is a collaboration of seborrheic dermatitis and hair loss, so my hair gets really oily, and I have to wash it with a clarifying shampoo every day. This shampoo seems to have the best oil-removing ability among all the shampoos I've tried. I only need to use it once, whereas I'd have to use other shampoos three times. 3. With my seborrheic dermatitis, the itchiness is still there even after using shampoo, but this one has definitely helped the most! Other shampoos make the itchiness go crazy right after use and again about 3 hours later, but this one significantly reduces the number of times I have to scratch my head. 4. The speed at which my hair gets oily has decreased. Seborrheic dermatitis comes with itchiness, dandruff, and oiliness - the worst combination. Other shampoos would make my hair oily again in less than half a day, to the point where I'd have to wash it again in the evening, and by 24 hours later, it would start smelling bad, like someone hadn't washed their hair for 3 days. But this one keeps my hair oil-free for 24 hours! Compared to the other shampoos that only lasted half a day, I'm very satisfied. 5. The amount of hair I'm losing has decreased slightly. Since I have hair loss, there's not much I can do about it, but it does seem like I'm losing a bit less - from around 50 strands down to 20-30 strands. I can say this with confidence after using it for a long time.
ConsIt's too thick and heavy... While the cleansing power is top-notch, the thickness is also at the top level. If you use it, it would be better to have a conditioner or rinse as well. I don't use it much because I have neck and back acne, but even when air-dried, it's not as heavy as I thought, though the hair texture is still sacrificed. My hair ends up looking frizzy.
TipIf you're like me, with a sensitive seborrheic scalp and hair loss, I recommend using a small amount of the shampoo, then letting it sit on your hair for 2-3 minutes while you wash or rinse your face. This helps the shampoo remove oil more effectively. Using too much shampoo doesn't do your scalp any good, and using just a small amount may not remove the oil well enough, so this method is what I suggest!

The existing products didn't work for me, so I searched and found this. They said it's good for the scalp, and after using it consistently, my scalp itchiness has decreased and my dandruff has reduced. I also like that it lathers well. I've used shampoos that don't lather much before, and they didn't feel like they cleaned properly. I'm already on my second bottle.
ConsIt doesn't have much of a fragrance. It's not unscented, but the smell isn't particularly pleasant to me. But as I've continued using it, I've gotten used to the smell, and since it's greatly reduced my scalp flakiness, the fragrance is not a big deal. I think the pump-style packaging would be more convenient. When I don't control the amount well, too much comes out.

I bought it based on the good reviews, and at first I wasn't sure if it was really that good. But the more I use it, the more I like it! First of all, the itchiness and pimples on my scalp have disappeared, and my hair seems to get less oily compared to other shampoos. Even though I have a very oily scalp, no shampoo can really handle it completely. And when I don't wash my hair for a few days, it doesn't get extremely oily to the point where no shampoo can lather up properly. This one lathers up right away, which is really amazing. I usually do a pre-wash, but the lather is so rich that it's great. I'll definitely buy this again.
ConsNot really anything bad, but I'm not sure if my hair has gotten thicker.
TipYour hair might get a bit dry, so make sure to use a good conditioner. If you have a really oily scalp or dandruff, you might want to do a pre-wash.

Cons☁ Disadvantages - Can be drying for dry hair, and even for oily hair, the hair may feel stiff when using the shampoo alone - The shampoo scent does not last long, which is disappointing - The price is quite high compared to the actual volume
TipIt's a bit of a shame, but the subtle cooling sensation is amazing when using it twice. It's not a harsh or painful feeling, but more like the scalp heat gradually subsiding. After using it for about 2 weeks, I noticed less hair fall

When I use the shampoo to wash my hair, I can actually feel a cooling sensation as if the heat in my hair is being blown away. Definitely, I had less issues with my hair getting greasy by the evening after using it. In the summer, my bangs tend to get oily by early evening the next day, but this shampoo was fine! Those who like mint scents will be satisfied. This refreshing mint scent is much better than the artificial floral fragrances commonly used in shampoos.
ConsOn the other hand, I'm not too sure about the conditioner and treatment. When I used them in the order Nioxin recommended, my hair became too stiff, feeling like I had just washed it with soap. The coarse texture also remained. Unless you have severe oily scalp, you might need to mix and match the conditioner and treatment with other products.

It consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and no-rinse treatment. 🧴The shampoo has a slightly blue-tinted transparent formula and is a bit thinner than regular shampoos, but it lathers up nicely! And the peppermint scent is refreshing, leaving my scalp feeling cool and clean.😃 🧴The conditioner is not heavy and has a lotion-like moisturizing effect, rinsing out smoothly without any greasy residue. I think it would be great for daily use! 🧴The no-rinse treatment came out in a foamy form at first, which surprised me, but following the instructions and applying it mainly to my scalp worked well without feeling heavy. This also didn't leave any slippery feeling.😌 As someone with a sensitive, oily scalp, I didn't experience any breakouts while using these products! If you have an oily scalp that isn't overly sensitive, this could be a great set to use in the summer! It feels luxurious, like getting a hotel treatment.😉
ConsThe shampoo I was using before was already very good for my oily scalp, so I didn't notice a huge difference when using this product. However, the ingredients don't seem to be the best, which is a bit disappointing. 😞

There is no residue and the lather is abundant, making it feel refreshingly clean. Since I used the trial kit, I'm not sure if the effects are solely from the shampoo, but my hair does feel invigorated.
ConsIt's quite confusing. The segmentation is good, but it would be better if the explanation was written more simply. Since I used the trial kit, the amount seems a bit small.
TipIt seems important to use it consistently.

I've already repurchased the large size! The Nioxin product line has various product ranges from No. 1 to No. 6 to address different scalp concerns. The one I used is the No. 2 line, which is for those with fine, limp hair. To describe my scalp and hair condition, I used to have a dry scalp with a bit of dandruff, and my hair was very thick and voluminous until my teenage years. But in my 20s, my scalp has gradually become oily, and I've been experiencing hair loss and severe scalp itchiness and greasiness. I've always had an abundance of hair, so I never really paid attention to hair and scalp care. I just used shampoos and treatments that were good for damaged hair ends, without considering products that would benefit my scalp. But recently, I realized the importance of scalp care and had the chance to try the Nioxin products. The basic shampoo felt like a concentrated scalp care shampoo, focusing on cleansing. I used to get itchy and have dandruff just a day after washing my hair, but surprisingly, after using the Nioxin shampoo for the first time, I felt a refreshing and comfortable sensation on my scalp as my hair dried. It really made me understand the importance of using a scalp-care shampoo. Although it's a bit pricey, I'd recommend trying the shampoo first and then considering other products if it works well for you.
ConsThere's nothing disappointing. It's been a while since I've used a shampoo that doesn't make me feel anything.
TipI wouldn't recommend this to someone with a very dry scalp.
