Is it really absorbed? That's the feeling I get.. But try applying it generously, multiple times a day, for just 3 days. A lot of the dead skin will disappear. And it applies lightly and refreshingly. The scent is nice too. There's not a bit of stickiness. I've used all kinds of lip balms year-round, and after using this one for about a week, I found I could sometimes go without applying it. But it didn't make my lips brand new, it just got me out of the cycle of peeling and flaking. I'll be sure to grab another when they have a buy one get one sale.

(The photo shows the lip balm used up completely) The renewed version seems a bit different from the one I used to buy from the pharmacy. I'll describe based on the flat white balm I used before. (My lips are extremely rough and flaky.) It applies smoothly. It feels a bit slippery right after application, but the moisture lasts quite long, which I liked. It doesn't just sit on the surface of my lips, but absorbs well, leaving a pleasant moisturized feeling. It's not irritating either. I used it before bed, applying generously, and also in the morning on my dry lips.
ConsI may have missed it, but I had a hard time finding it in offline stores. Most importantly, it didn't do much to relieve my lip flakiness. It only mildly suppressed the flakes, so when I applied lip products with visible flakes (like Innisfree × Olive Young Lip Balm, etc.), the flakes would immediately resurface. That was disappointing.
