Even though it's not a makeup product, it feels like a lip balm. I've been applying it comfortably as if it were one. I still use it conveniently when I just step out in front of my house or go for a walk. I've tried all the shades, and except for shade 1, the color payoff is vivid and it feels more like a glow lipstick than a lip balm. It applies smoothly and softly without any irritation.
