I used to use another BB cream from this brand before, and I used it for a long time and was very satisfied with it. This BB cream also has good coverage, but it does not cover too thickly, so it suits my preference well.
ConsThe fragrance is very strong, so after applying the BB cream, a strong odor is noticeable. The smell disappears after about an hour, but it did not suit me.

I don't really like doing base or color makeup, so unless it's a really important day, I don't wear much makeup. But this product is like putting on sunscreen - I can just do my basic skincare and use this as the last step anytime. If Missha were to discontinue this and the purple ampoule, I would confidently go to the Able C&C headquarters and stage a one-person protest by lying down in front of it. (My skin type tends to be combination, sometimes oily and sometimes dry. Please take this into account when reviewing the product.) 1. Packaging & Texture: The packaging is a pump-type container with a subtle brown gradient. To be honest, even now it has a bit of a traditional Korean medicine cosmetic design, but before the renewal, it was undeniably an old lady(...)cosmetic design. If you're curious, you can search for the pre-renewal packaging design on Hwahae. When you pump out the product, a small amount of cream comes out of the dispenser. The texture is not watery, but a firm cream, so it's very easy to dispense an appropriate amount onto your hand or a brush and spread it evenly on your face.2. Spreadability & Coverage: This is the overwhelming advantage of this product. Whether you apply it with your fingers or a brush, it glides on smoothly without any residue or heaviness. Of course, you shouldn't expect a dewy, liquid foundation-like finish, as this product is formulated for combination to oily skin types, so a matte texture is to be expected. The coverage is beyond that of a BB cream, and I would say it's a tailor-made base makeup for oily skin types. I've tried various base makeup products from brands like Bé Xhâm, Touche Peau, Ohui, Laneige, and Hera, and while some of them were decent or good, none of them surpassed this Missha product. Depending on how you apply it, just one layer can cover most blemishes, pores, and redness, and if you apply a second layer, it can even cover dark circles and the like. (No need for more than two layers, and in fact, two layers are usually enough to cover any face makeup concerns.) Unless Missha starts making nonsense products or I completely change to a dry skin type, I don't see myself ever straying from this product.3. Longevity: This is the second overwhelming advantage. To put it simply, there is no breakdown of the makeup! Of course, it's not completely flawless, but any breakdown is so minimal that you'd have to get up close to a mirror to even notice it. My usual routine is to apply this Missha Cho Bo Yang BB cream over my final skincare cream and a light layer of sun protection, and then set it with the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray before going out. With this routine, I can go over 12 hours without needing any touch-ups or corrections. And this is on my oily skin! Those with extremely oily skin may want to add a powder on top as well. 4. Gentle Formula: This is the third overwhelming advantage. As mentioned, I can wear just this BB cream in the morning without any touch-ups, and then remove it at night without experiencing any breakouts or issues. I've had experiences with other foundation products causing me to break out the next day, but I've never had that problem with this Missha product. However, this is based on my combination to oily skin type. Those with dry skin may find the matte finish to be drying, which I'll discuss in the cons section.
ConsIn fact, before my military service, my skin was quite glowing and radiant, and I haven't found a better base product than this. Even now, aside from the slight transfer, I can't find any downsides to this product for me. Therefore, you can consider the first downside as common for all skin types, and the second downside as specific to dry skin. 1. Transfer: Well, some degree of transfer is inevitable in base makeup products (I've never come across a base product that claims to have zero transfer and actually lives up to that claim. If you know of such a product, please share your insights, as I would be very grateful to learn about it...). However, the transfer with this product is significantly less compared to other base products. But on days when I wear a white top, I do have to be very careful to avoid the product transferring onto the neckline. 2. Matte finish (for dry skin): The overwhelming longevity and adherence, along with the dense, cream-like texture, means that the product absorbs and even exceeds the oil content of the skin. This would work very well for combination to oily skin types, but for those with dry skin, it may lead to a feeling of dryness or accentuation of flakiness over time. For those with dry skin, Missha has some more hydrating products, and there are many options from other brands that I would recommend exploring.
TipI pump about 1-2 times on the back of my hand, then dab it onto the T-zone, cheeks, chin, and neck with my fingers. I then spread it out evenly with a Missha brush to finish. If you also use a makeup fixer (I personally use the Urban x Key fixer) or powder, you'll have a long-lasting base that won't budge all day. This is my first review of a makeup product rather than a skincare item, and since I'm so fond of this product, I've ended up writing a lengthy review. I hope Missha doesn't discontinue this, even if they don't put it on sale often. haha

It's moisturizing, so there's no need to worry about makeup caking, and it has great coverage.
ConsThere are no particular shortcomings, but... the fragrance is a bit old-fashioned? To be honest, there are no real downsides.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsPlease be sure to check the attached photo, it's revolutionary! By the way, I don't do any corrective makeup at all. -Adhesion Across the entire world, there is no product with better adhesion than this one. I guarantee it. This was the only product I could use when I had severe seborrheic dermatitis and my face was covered in flaky skin. I've tried many famous products like Estee Lauder foundation, Banila Co White Cushion, Espoir Bi-Veil, Missha Glow Cushion, Apieu Water-Lasting Cushion, The Face Shop Ink Lasting, and Clio Kill Cover... but none of them were better than this one. Unequivocally, this product is the top-of-the-line in terms of adhesion. It doesn't budge. I mean, it really doesn't budge. Even if I just quickly rinse my face with toner and apply it in 15 seconds, it still doesn't come off. -Longevity It doesn't come off. Seriously, it doesn't come off. In the summer, I worked a buffet shift for a business trip, in 40 degree heat, wearing a mask for 5 hours of loading and unloading, and when I checked the mirror, it hadn't come off. Instead, it looked glowy and nicely adhered to my skin. -Pores, Blemishes, Scars, and Flaky Skin Coverage This product not only covers spots, redness, and blemishes, but also provides great 3D coverage. If you're worried about your nose pores, this product makes them disappear. It's crazy, really. If you have problematic pores, just use this. It makes existing pores vanish and provides great coverage. On the days I wear this, my friends always comment on how great my skin looks. It also smooths over flaky skin like cracked eggs. -Redness Coverage This product is specialized for redness coverage. Since it's a BB cream, there's an inevitable slightly ashy tone compared to foundation, but for those with redness, this is a godsend. It covers redness beautifully, making the skin look like freshly cracked eggs.
ConsThe color is too dark for my skin, which is #17. My friends always say my neck is much whiter. But it's okay, even if it's a little dark. It covers all the pores and unevenness, and the skin expression is amazing.... That's why I used 10 tubes, and I'll just keep using it going forward.
TipEven if you apply it carelessly, it just doesn't work. It simply doesn't work. This product makes your pores and flaky skin stand out? If you're going to use this cosmetic product, you should go straight to a dermatologist. Your skin is at a serious level that requires immediate medical attention. This product can even cover my moderate seborrheic dermatitis. I'm not lying at all, I've been using this product for over 8 years and have bought more than 10 bottles. It's a holy grail product for me, and if Missha discontinues this product, I'll protest.

For people with skin tones where 21 is too light and 23 is a bit too dark, I strongly recommend this! When I use this, it matches my skin tone perfectly. Even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any breakouts and have been using it well. The pump-style packaging makes it easy to use hygienically. It covers pores well and has great coverage.
ConsThere's not much to be disappointed about. I hope the product is not discontinued!
TipIt applies much more smoothly when using a puff rather than your hands.

ConsThe formula is too thick, making it difficult to apply by hand and it tends to slide off. The longevity requires mid-application touch-ups.

It's a product I use all year round! I used to use the Neo cushion when I had oily skin, but strangely, the Neo cushion made my skin look too dull, and over time, the uneven texture became more pronounced, so I stopped reaching for it. I haven't tried every base makeup product on the market, but I can confidently say that it's hard for me to find a base that suits my skin well. But this product is the only one that seamlessly blends into my skin and makes it look smooth! 1. Perfectly matches 22nd shade These days, 23rd shades look like 21st, and 21st shades look like 17th, but there's a 22nd shade cushion for beginners, so people like me with an in-between tone can use it and get a beautiful, natural-looking finish. It's like applying an MLBB (My Lips But Better) lip color - it makes my skin look even prettier than my actual skin. 2. Good adherence I apply it with my hands, and it really adheres well. The formula also doesn't have much oil, so it doesn't feel greasy and just seamlessly blends in. It also covers my pores completely. 3. Works well with any application tool It applies well with my hands and also with a puff. This is truly a product I'll use forever..🧡 4. Good coverage It covers my pores, uneven texture, and redness. I don't like heavy makeup, so I don't use concealer, and with this, I can get a natural-looking finish by applying it thinly with my hands, and I'm very satisfied with the results.
ConsNone There are reviews saying it can look ashy, but I found that it breaks down beautifully, even better than the cushions I used before.
TipOh, try mixing it with the Hera UV Mist Cushion Glow lotion - they work great together!

Since I have the personality to consistently purchase the same product once I find one that suits me, I've been using it steadily since 2021! 1. Moisturizing: My T-zone is oily, but other parts of my face are extremely dry due to facial atopy, yet this applies so moisturizing. 2. Layering: I layer the Cho-Bo-Yang BB Cream with the Estee* Foundation, and it covers blemishes really well and gives a very natural skin expression. 3. Non-irritating: My skin is very sensitive, but I didn't experience any redness, itchiness, or breakouts after applying it. 4. Coverage: The coverage is really good. 5. Shade: I'm glad there's a 22nd shade available, as often there are only 21 and 23. I not only repurchase this product, but I've also recommended it to my mom and sister, and they're loving it too!
ConsThe longevity is a bit weak, so I need to do touch-ups.
TipCho-Bo-Yang BB Cream + Estee* Foundation - Guarantees moisturizing and perfect coverage☺️ The Estee* was too drying to use on its own, but using them together is a perfect combination!

Coverage 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Adhesion 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Spreadability 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Longevity 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Actually, I bought this product because I heard that mixing it with foundation and BB cream can improve the longevity. Using just a moisturizing foundation wasn't enough for me in terms of longevity, and then I saw on YouTube that mixing it with BB cream works well, so I tried it... It was a good choice! The product description also says it's good to mix with foundation. The BB cream matches my skin tone perfectly, so when I mix it with a lighter foundation, it adjusts the tone just right, which I love. The longevity also improves, and when I touch up, just wiping with a tissue and lightly applying cushion foundation on top doesn't make it come off at all!!
ConsIt does seem quite oily, and after mixing it with foundation, the makeup looks a bit thicker than just using cushion foundation.
TipI usually mix it with a more hydrating foundation, but when I mix it with a matte foundation, the spreadability becomes much better.
