  In the past, just applying a moisturizing toner or a single moisturizer was enough in the summer, but this year my skin condition has changed again and it's become too dry. After doing this routine, I hardly get any skin troubles or redness, and it's not too dry or too oily - it's just perfect. I also tried using jojoba oil since they say it's similar in composition to sebum and less likely to cause breakouts, but that one was only good for me in the dead of winter when my skin was really dry. Otherwise, it would cause pimples. I used to like carrot oil, but the scent was too much for me to bear, so I won't be buying that again. I think I've settled on this as my basic skincare routine now.

  I've been using this product every day for 2 years and it's a 5-star product. Even though it's an oil, it's not heavy at all and absorbs well. In my opinion, it has a slight woody fragrance. Mixing about 5 drops of the oil into a lotion provides great moisturizing effects. Even though it doesn't contain any artificial ingredients, I didn't notice any changes in the fragrance or any deterioration over the approximately 1 year it took me to finish a bottle. The deep blue bottle and tightly sealed cap, similar to cough syrup, seem to help preserve the product.

  Since it's winter and my skin is dry, I use about 3 drops of this lotion. At night, I apply a shea butter cream on top. But before my morning makeup, I don't like to apply too many products, so I just use this oil-mixed lotion and then apply only sunscreen before makeup.
