I was worried that self-dyeing would damage my hair, but after dyeing, my hair actually became soft and smooth. To be honest, the recovery balm product among the dye components was really good. It was so good that I thought the dye was just an excuse to sell the recovery balm. 2. There was no irritation. I have sensitive scalp and skin, but there were no breakouts. There was no stinging, itching, or other discomfort, so I'm thinking of trying another color.
Cons1. For those expecting lavender, it's best to lower your expectations unless your hair is extremely light. The lavender color barely showed up - the 1st bleached hair came out khaki, the 2nd bleached hair came out gray, and the 3rd bleached hair came out ashy lavender (which was mostly just a grayish tone).
