I tried using a cushion foundation with gentle ingredients, but the coverage was too low. The liquid concealer I tried kept peeling off. The thin, flat brush worked better with the cushion than the dense bristle brush. If I gently press the brush on the blemishes before applying the cushion, it covers them nicely after about 5 minutes of setting. Then I can go over the darker areas again with the liquid concealer for extra coverage. Another method is to lightly apply the cushion first, then dab the concealer onto the puff and gently stipple it over the larger blemishes. This looks just as nice without the hassle of a brush. The ingredients in this concealer are better than others, so I can even use it directly on my bare skin. I have a lot of small acne scars and sensitive skin, so I usually go for low-coverage, gentle cushion foundations. But this concealer is great - the coverage is good, it stays put, and it looks so natural. My previous liquid concealer would sometimes clog my pores and cause breakouts, but this one doesn't have that problem at all. This is my holy grail concealer!
ConsI don't have any negatives yet. The only potential issue is that it's a pot concealer, so you have to be really careful about hygiene.
