It's incredibly fine and the particles are very smooth. This is my first time using a powder, so I don't have much to compare it to, but when I went to Olive Young and tested other powders, this one is definitely the thinnest. Other powder compacts leave a lot of white residue when you rub them on your fingers, but the Renecte powder blends in incredibly thinly no matter how much you rub it. That's why I can't seem to apply it thickly. Even when I use a lot of product on the puff, it always goes on super thin. I don't know much about cosmetic manufacturing, but since this is a baked powder, the particles do feel very fine. 2. It's not drying at all. As I keep emphasizing, this powder is so thin that even though I have combination skin that's close to dry, I've never felt it was drying. It feels as light as if I'm not wearing anything. 3. It's great for carrying around. Since this is a compact, it's much more convenient to carry around than loose powders. With loose powders, I always worry about the lid not closing properly and spilling powder all over my bag, and when you open them, the powder just flies everywhere, so I couldn't take them out. But with this, I don't have any of those concerns, so I feel very at ease. 4. The amount lasts a long time. I've been using this powder almost daily for 3 months, and it still hasn't hit pan, so the amount seems to be more than I expected. 5. It doesn't brighten my skin tone. Some people might see this as a downside that it doesn't brighten the skin tone, but for me, as someone with very dark skin in Korea (I'm around 23-25 shade abroad, but very dark in Korea), finding the right base color is extremely difficult. Tone-up products don't actually make my skin look prettier, they just make me look like a ghost. So I don't like using tone-up/tone-correcting products. That's why even though my friends kept recommending the Amore Pacific tone powder, I didn't buy it because I was worried it would make my face look too bright and floating. I'd rather just embrace my natural dark skin tone. You're right, I got a bit carried away and the text ended up being quite long. But anyway, this product is just perfect - it makes my skin look smooth and soft without any tone correction, which I really love.
Cons1. The cost-effectiveness is not good. Even though I used a coupon to purchase it relatively cheaply, it is still on the expensive side. No matter how good it is, a powder that costs 42,000 won at the regular price is a bit excessive in my opinion. 2. The longevity is not good. I mentioned that I liked how thin it was, but this is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It's so thin that the longevity is quite poor. I have to reapply it several times a day. Fortunately, it doesn't clump up when I reapply, but I wish the longevity was longer.
