Sometimes when I'm tired, I get a pimple or two, but: 1. Absorption It absorbs quickly. I apply it after a watery toner, and it sinks in without any stickiness. Finishing with a slightly richer cream was just right. 2. Fragrance-free I couldn't smell any fragrance on my nose! This was great for me as I'm not a big fan of scents. 3. Hydration It instantly replenishes moisture. So when my face felt dry, I just applied it and it became nicely hydrated without being overly so. 4. Packaging I liked the environmentally-conscious packaging. The paper-based container and paper tape, and the clear plastic jar felt thoughtfully designed.
Cons1. Oil-Water Balance I prefer products that have a good oil-water balance, but this ampoule seems to focus more on hydration. As it's quite low in oil, I had to apply a rich cream on top, even in the summer. Dry-skinned folks will definitely need to use an extra rich cream. 2. Cap I carelessly grabbed it and the cap came off, causing me to drop it on the floor several times. The cap design could be improved to fit more securely.
