The scent lasts longer when sprayed on clothes, so I spray it on both my clothes and skin. The lingering fragrance has a modern and casual feel to it. And after using it for about 3 days, the simple spearmint gum scent I initially noticed becomes more complex. And don't just think of peppermint when you think of mint - there's also a hint of soapy fragrance in it. I initially thought I wouldn't like it since reviews were mixed, but fortunately I fell for the unique charm of Dirty once I tried it. In short, it's a really attractive and refreshing mint scent.
