Since I double cleanse by using a cleansing milk followed by a foam cleanser, I think using a mildly acidic product can help reduce irritation a little bit :) However, there is also the view that occasionally using a mildly alkaline cleanser may be necessary, depending on your skin type! This is the most memorable facial cleansing foam I've used recently! Since I haven't used a product with exfoliating beads in a while, that might be why, but I usually have issues with my skin getting red and irritated when I use those types of products, so I've been using only mild products for the past 1-2 years. However, this product didn't irritate my skin at all, even though it has exfoliating beads. I could definitely feel the slightly rough texture, but my skin was fine even after scrubbing thoroughly, and it felt nicely exfoliated. I never experienced any major skin issues or worsening of my skin condition while using this product! The long-term skin improvement effects will likely become more apparent with extended use. As of now, I'd love to purchase this product again in the future! This was the first time I tried this brand, and I'm interested in exploring their other products as well.
ConsThose with very sensitive skin, atopic dermatitis, etc. should be cautious when using this product, as the exfoliating beads may be an issue.
