  I don't know what came over me, but I bought a matte foundation even though it doesn't suit my skin type. I apply it in the order of essence-like base prep-moisturizing sunscreen-foundation, and it applies smoothly without much difficulty, probably because I apply it on a hydrated face. It has a clingy, fixed feeling and is matte as the name suggests, but my skin doesn't feel dry. I'm not sure if that's a characteristic of the foundation or thanks to the base prep. It covers my pores smoothly, has great longevity with no darkening. It hardly budges or cakes, even on very humid and hot days. A single pump is enough, so it should last me a while.
