I am someone who has cracked and bleeding lips for 330 out of 365 days in a year. I've tried all kinds of lip balms that are supposed to be moisturizing, like Vaseline, Laneige Lip Mask, and Sisley Lip Balm, but nothing worked. A friend of mine said my lips were really bad, so she gave me a little bit of La Mer Lip Balm to try. I applied it and went to sleep, and the next morning, the cracks had healed. Even when I applied ointment, the wounds wouldn't close and my lips kept splitting, but the La Mer Lip Balm healed the wounds overnight. I immediately bought it for myself.
ConsIt's inconvenient and wasteful to have to use your fingers to scoop it out, especially when using it outside, because then you have to wipe the lip balm off your fingers onto something else. It's expensive, so it's a shame to have to wipe the residue off on a tissue.
