I bought a tone-up sun cream online without much thought, and it had a yellow base, which was disappointing. But this one really brightens my skin tone beautifully, with no trace of yellow. It gives me a lovely pink-toned glow and is suitable for my dry skin. I only use foundation in shade 13.17, but honestly, I don't really need foundation. They are a bit firmer in lotion form, but apply smoothly without any clumping, even around the nose area. There's no tugging on fine lines around the neck either. When I was in a hurry, I just slapped it on like my dad does his skincare, but it still applied evenly without clogging my pores! Before buying a tinted sunscreen, I tried the famous Espoir and Dalba products, but this was the smoothest application. 🫧Natural-looking tone-up Tone-up creams can sometimes make your face look chalky if you use too much. This Tokobo one does get a bit pale if you overdo it, but the right amount applied all the way down to the neck gives a nice, brightened, cushiony effect. 🫧No darkening If I apply it after my workout at lunch, there's almost no darkening by 6pm. It does fade a bit, but doesn't get darker than my natural skin tone. For reference, the Dalba product had the worst darkening for me. 🫧Oil control As someone with oily skin, the oil does come through over time, but in a nice, glowy way. It's the most satisfying oil control among the tinted sunscreens I've tried - Espoir and Dalba both ended up looking greasy.
