Even when applied thinly, it covers dark circles and redness around the nose well, and I didn't feel like it was caked on. I spray a fixing spray after makeup, so I can't say for sure about the longevity of this product, but it definitely lasted longer than the cushion foundation when I layered the concealer over it. It doesn't look cakey at all and I like it. I use shade 19 even though the cushion foundation comes in a darker 21 shade, and I have to mix in a bit of the lighter beige shade from the palette when I apply this concealer, or else it looks a bit dark.
