The concealer can sometimes be a bit thick, but this one has a nice matte finish. Just apply a small amount with a spatula and dab it on, and it will stick on nicely in a thin layer. But since I have a bit of a dry skin type, I think those with dry skin might find it difficult to use. It feels a bit heavy when first applied, but it settles into a nice matte finish after a while. The vanilla shade seems to suit 21-22 skin tones well, and most importantly, it applies so moisturizing which I'm very satisfied with. It has good coverage, but I personally prefer a product that is moisturizing yet has slightly less coverage, rather than one that cracks and dries. That said, the coverage is by no means poor - in my opinion, it covers blemishes and freckles well, though it may be better suited for covering acne than dark spots.
