They're not irritating, don't feel sticky or heavy, and just provide a refreshing hydration to the skin, so I can use them comfortably even in the summer. The pads can be a bit tricky as they can be irritating, but the Avene pads are the softest and least irritating cotton pads I've tried. The pads have a nice thickness to them, and they're divided into two or three layers, so you can apply them in thinner layers or use the thicker, more moisturizing two-layer version depending on your preference. The container is large enough that you can easily reach in and grab the pads without needing a separate dispenser (which I tend not to use anyway since they often make the pads feel cramped). Overall, these are gentle, soft, and refreshing pads!
ConsIn the beginning when the pads were very saturated, it was difficult to peel them off one by one neatly. (Once I had used about half the container and they were at the right saturation level, this was no longer an issue.) I also found them a bit prone to pilling and tearing, which was a bit inconvenient.
