Skin type: My whole body is dry. Reason for applying the product: After I started shaving the hair on my arms, I started getting these sebum-filled bumps that would pop when squeezed. Scrubbing would help a bit, but I'd have to moisturize after, and then the issue would flare up again. Not scrubbing didn't help either... No matter what lotion I used, the bumps kept coming, and they'd leave scars like in the photo when popped. I had been searching for a body essence, but I heard Skinfood's was too oily, so I was hesitant to try it. Then I won this product in an event! To conclude! It's so comfortable to use all over my body even in the summer, and while the bumps don't completely go away, it's much better than lotion and I can apply a lot without issues. As you can see in the photo, the marks are fading a lot now, and the sebum isn't as visible. Stopping the lotion and finding another moisturizing alternative has really helped reduce my breakouts, and the medicated ointment I've been using is finally starting to work. - Texture It has a watery ampoule-like consistency! The moisturization is just right, and I've been applying it to my hands and feet as well. - Absorption It absorbs quickly and leaves no residue on my body. Even though I have dry skin, I don't get the crazy flaky buildup that some others with combination skin report. Just a light whitish cast if I don't use lotion for a few days. - Scent I like the scent. It's light and dissipates quickly, so even those sensitive to fragrance can use it. - I will repurchase.
